About Me

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 12 plus years of experience in end of life care, counseling, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and building positive communication skills with clients of diverse backgrounds. My career as a social worker has allowed me to work with clients impacted by depression, anxiety, end-of-life issues, grief, LGBTQ issues, gender dysphoria, domestic violence, substance abuse issues, homelessness, and trauma.

I spent 10 years working in higher education, 7 years in hospice, 3 years in homelessness and substance use, and 4 years in domestic violence.

I grew up in Dallas, TX until relocating to Honolulu, HI where I completed my undergraduate degree in Speech Communications and my Masters of Social Work. I relocated to Oregon in 2016 after meeting and marrying my wife.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids exploring the outdoors, working in the garden, cooking and baking, and doing cross-stitch projects.
